Create your visual note

The tool for mapping the fact-finding missions is the visual note. A fact-finder works by creating such notes during a fact-finding mission, either individually or in a group.

Read more about what is and how to create a visual note and how to join a local fact-finding mission.

These visual notes are mapped in a global directory, the World Map. Submit them for consideration using the submit button below.

The visual note is composed of a visual digital element and a textual caption related to it.

The digitalised element may be an image, a video or an audio file.

Only the following formats are accepted:

  • JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF, PNG, or GIF for images,
  • MP4, MOV, AVI, FLV, WMA, MPG, or MPEG-4 for video,
  • and WAV, MP3, AAC or OGG for audio.

The textual element is a plain (unformatted) text which will be added in a text field.

The visual digital element should not exceed 2 M in size.

The text should not exceed 2200 characters, including spaces, in size.
